Arkansas Advanced Energy, U.S. Green Building Council to co-host “Advancing Energy Efficiency in Arkansas” panel August 28

In partnership with U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Arkansas Advanced Energy Association (AAEA) will host its next Quarterly Charge, themed “Advancing Energy Efficiency in Arkansas,” on August 28, 2025, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. at 1403 E 6th Street in Little Rock.

Hosted at Entegrity Headquarters, the first LEED Zero Energy certified project in the United States, the event will bring together energy professionals, local government leaders, and industry stakeholders to explore how energy efficiency supports reliability, cost management, and community resilience. The panel, to be moderated by April Ambrose, Director of Workforce Development for Arkansas Advanced Energy Foundation, will include:

Energy efficiency is one of the most practical and cost-effective ways we can improve reliability, reduce long-term costs, and build more resilient communities across Arkansas. By bringing together municipal leaders, industry experts, and innovative financing tools, this Quarterly Charge will help turn good ideas into real impact.
— Lauren Waldrip, Executive Director, Arkansas Advanced Energy Association

The event is free for AAEA and USGBC members and $20 for non-members. Members and non-members must RSVP by August 19. One hour of continuing education credit will be available via self-reporting.

In 2019, Entegrity Headquarters was certified LEED Platinum and LEED Zero Energy, becoming the first LEED Zero Energy certified project in the United States and second in the world. The building was also awarded ILFI’s Zero Energy certification and is on the Historic Register.
