AAEA reflects on 2025 Arkansas legislative session

During the 2025 Arkansas legislative session, the Arkansas Advanced Energy Association (AAEA) successfully defended property rights and market access by opposing restrictive wind energy bills and shaping more balanced regulation. AAEA also partnered with Americans for Prosperity–Arkansas to advance shared goals around affordability, reliability, and transparency. Key wins included amending the PACE expansion bill, increasing oversight on utility cost recovery, and laying groundwork for future consumer protections on non-export energy systems. Through initiatives like Arkansas Energy Lobby Day and the “WattsUp” social media campaign, AAEA elevated member voices and broadened public engagement.
